Terraced house extension

A mid terraced house and an end terraced house usually fallow the same planning rules:

- loft conversion smaller than 40 cubic metres

- rear extension of 3 metres under PD and 6 metres for larger scheme application

For an end terraced house you can have a side extension as well, but the upper floors should be set back at least 30cm from the existing front elevation.

If you can't decide or don't know what's best suitable for your particular house book a free consultation with an architect with no obligation on your behalf.
